Sheepwash Showdown Event Details

After the great success of 3 year’s of 2-day events, Sheepwash Showdown 2025 will be on the 9th – 10th of August. Free camping available on Friday and Saturday night, children’s bouncy castle, Saturday night BBQ… All included in your race fees! Open to 2WD Stock buggies, 2WD rear motor buggies, 4WD buggies and stadium trucks. BRCA required for everyone that wants to race/marshal.

Prices

Adult £25 Junior £15 for the weekend including BBQ (£5 each extra class)

Classes

2WD Rear Motor – Any rear motor 2wd buggy, any motor or speed controller timing allowed.
2WD Stock – 13.5t motor no speed controller timing allowed (Blinky)
4WD – 10.5t motor no speed controller timing allowed (Blinky)
Stadium truck – 10.5t motor no speed controller timing allowed (Blinky)

Camping

Free camping on Friday and Saturday night, music and fire pit

Facilities

– Please bring your own table and chair and a Hi Vis vest which must be worn when marshalling.

– Pits are not covered so bring a gazebo to shelter from the sun…. or rain.

– Mains power is provided, please bring an extension lead.

– Compressed air to clean cars

– Onsite toilets

– Tea and Coffee available

– Onsite water

Race format

2 rounds of timed practice to set heat ability, 6 rounds of qualifying with 3 best rounds to count, 3 leg finals.

Schedule (All timings are dependent on entry numbers)

Saturday

8.30am to 10.30am – Booking in, camping setup, Open practice, concourse and drivers briefing

10.35am to 12.50pm – 2 rounds of timed practice

12.50pm to 1.20pm lunch break

1.25pm to 4.45pm – 3 rounds of qualifying

5.00pm – BBQ

Sunday

8.30am to 9.30am – Open practice

9.35am to 1pm – 3 rounds of qualifying

1pm to 1.30pm lunch break

1.30pm to 5pm – 3 leg finals

5pm – 5.30pm Trophy presentation
